Sulk is the second studio album by Scottish pop band The Associates. It was released on 14 May 1982 on their own Associates imprint of Beggars Banquet Records for the UK and throughout the rest of Europe on WEA Records and in the US on 4 October by Sire Records. It stayed in the UK Albums Chart for 20 weeks, reaching number 10, and it was crowned the album of the year by UK music magazine Melody Maker. Although it was the group's breakthrough record both critically and commercially, it was to be the. Holland is the 19th studio album by the American rock group the Beach Boys, released on January 8, 1973. Self-produced by the band, the album peaked at number 36 in the US and number 20 in the UK. The album is the second of two studio recordings to feature Blondie Chaplin and Ricky Fataar, who joined the band the previous year to record Carl and the Passions So Tough. It is also the third and final studio album created under the management of Jack Rieley. The Who Tour 1981 was The Who's third concert tour since the death of original drummer Keith Moon, with most dates performed in advance of the release of their recently recorded Face Dances album. Aside from a performance on the German TV program Rockpalast at the end of the tour, it was strictly a United Kingdom venture, with four shows in Scotland, one in Wales, and the rest in England. The Associates or simply Associates were a Scottish post-punk and new wave band, formed in Dundee in 1979 by singer Billy MacKenzie and guitarist Alan Rankine. A string of 1981 non-album singles on the label Situation Two were compiled as Fourth Drawer Down, released that October. These releases saw the band develop an interest in experimenting with unorthodox instrumentation and recording techniques, including sounds being amplified through the tube of a vacuum cleaner on the track Kitchen Person.
