Instant Karma Karaoke tribute version originally performed by John Lennon. Instant Karma also titled Instant Karma We All Shine On is a song by English rock musician John Lennon, released as a single on Apple Records in February 1970. Basically, what comes around, goes around. John Lennon wrote and recorded this song in one day, which was either January 26 or 27, 1970, depending on the source. In 2007 U2, Christina Aguilera, . and Black Eyed Peas all contributed to an album of John Lennon cover songs called Instant Karma. This was the first of many recordings by members of the Beatles that Phil Spector produced in 1970. At some point the decision was made: to start and finish Lennons new song then and there, a marked departure from the laborious recent Beatles sessions. Watch John Lennon Perform 'Instant Karma' Billy Preston, who took part in the shelved sessions that would become Let It Be , appeared on organ. For White, a member of Lennon's recent ad hoc solo concert debut with the Plastic Ono Band in Toronto, it all came together in the blink of an eye. It was fantastic. It sounded like there was 50 people playing. Though Lennon was still officially a member of the Beatles, Instant Karma was, in fact, his third single to be released under the Plastic Ono Band banner. But unlike the others, this one the first solo song by a Beatle to sell 1 million copies in the U. definitively shifted the Fab Four's trajectory. Instant Karma Written by: Lennon Recorded: 27 January 1970 Producers: John Lennon, Yoko Ono, Phil Spector. Released: 6 February 1970 UK, 20 February 1970 US. Instant Karma was performed fully live on just two occasions, at the One To One benefit concerts for handicapped children. The concerts took place in the afternoon and evening of 30 August 1972 at New Yorks Madison Square Garden. The version from the afternoon concert was later issued on the 1986 album Live In New York City. Jay Tuesday 23 August 2011

Odd this one and for three reasons
1. The IEP format was introduced by EMI in the UK when they changed their two remaining 7" paper label presses
to a vile automated press, roller paint finish flip over then dry cycle omitted then LH die-cut on a punch as a very cost saving and effictive use of a loss leader production run......

2. The interlinked 45 and ST ovals were a design style for EMI-Electrola Germany and EMI-Bovema Netherlands
not the UK

3. Overall finish and an unpainted IEP reeks of a Telstar custom Juke box pressing just very strange even at this late stage 1992 that the catalogue number did not have a RLH prefix EMI would supply the metals and the etched titles plates for the automated stampers and LH die-cut punch that Telstar had installed in Enfield to custom press 7" vinyls for their loyal juke box customers, Factured in to the customer pre-order costs were the metals and etched plates Carbon black PVC granules sleeves and title strips

this deffo a product of mixed origin and or input
