Fear of Fours is the second studio album by British electronic music duo Lamb, released on 17 May 1999. All tracks are written by Andy Barlow and Lou Rhodes, except where noted. On the CD release of the album, an alternate version of Lullaby is hidden in the pregap, which can be found by rewinding the CD back before the first track. The Australian version has extra remixes of the album's tracks. Songs in album Lamb - Fear Of Fours 1999. Lamb - Soft Mistake. Lamb - Little Things. Lamb - B Line. Lamb - Untitled. While their debut was practically a revolution in the development of a satisfactory fusion of singersongwriter vocals and drum'n'bass, Lamb's second album sets the bar much higher. As on the band's debut, Andy Barlow proves he's one of the most capable and inventive producers in the electronic community. The rhythms, again, are breathtaking. The title, FEAR OF FOURS, comes from their aversion of the all-too-common 44 time signature found in most music today. So they craft tracks around less commonly used signatures, like the crazed 68 double bass jazz of B Line. They don't abandon it altogether, however All In Your Hands slithers with sinewy strength. Again, their range is noteworthy: right after the sultry Bonfire comes the frenetic and multi-fac. It was a moderate success, reaching UK 37, the bands only UK Top 40 album entry to date. The fourth track is not included on the albums track listing. It is a single struck chord which effectively ends the song B Line preceding it. On the CD release of the album, an alternate version of Lullaby is hidden in the pregap, which can be found by rewinding the CD back before the first track. Fear of Fours Q&A. More Lamb UK albums.
